Who Ordered Intergalactic Tacos?

Intergalactic Tacos is a Richmond, Virginia based Food Truck founded on bringing you the, "Best Grub in the Galaxy". Offering tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and much more, you are sure to find something you'll deem out of this world. I had the luxury of finally being able to try it at Richmond VegFest, an event focused on vegetarian and vegan options local to me.

Upon arrival, there was an eager line containing many return visitors promising the food was entirely worth the wait. We waited patiently and were thanked for it upon our arrival at the window, then made a point to speedily order one of each taco variety on the menu. The options were:

• Spicy Potato: with Rooted Delights cheese, corn salsa, cilantro, pickled jalapeño, and Rocket Sauce

• Tofu "Al Pastor": with onion, cilantro, Rocket Sauce and Pastor Salsa

• Mushroom: with pickled red onion, cilantro, and Rocket Sauce

With vegetarian options being my first introduction to Intergalactic Tacos, I found all three of my choices to be full of flavor with different spins on things you know to be tried & true. From the sharp heat of the pickled jalepeno, the sweetness of the corn salsa, to the rich creaminess of the vegan cheese, everything was vibrant, fresh, and filling. Add on their signature Rocket Sauce, and you are truly introduced to something new and exciting that you'll be sure to wait in any line for. My personal favorite was the Spicy Potato. The corn salsa was just enough to balance out the heat while the sauce brought everything together. Additionally, each taco was beautifully crafted, and even better than I anticipated. The Mushroom taco was cooked perfectly, and the Tofu "Al Pastor" was incredibly reminiscent of it's original; leaving you feeling like you aren't "missing anything" from the lack of pork.

I'll definitely be dining with them again, and you can find them by checking their scheduling on social media. They range all the way from Chester, Shockoe Slip, to the Midlothian area. From online ordering options to the ability to cater a variety of events, Intergalactic Tacos truly has something to offer everyone. I highly suggest you give this local business a try and find all they have to offer. You certainly wont be disappointed; I know I wasn't!
